Communications Aid for the Disabled

The challenging design brief for this project included a rugged keypad, speech recording and playback, infrared transmission and reception for controlling external devices and maximum operational life from conventional battery power.

The product also includes an option for low power radio communication to further extend its ability to control other devices in the product family.
